Parker County jury upholds jail escapees life sentence 
The life sentence a Parker County jury gave a 43-year-old Arlington man last June for escaping from the Parker County Jail was affirmed last Thursday by the Second Court of Appeals in Fort Worth.

Program’s lack of funding dishonors Coleman’s work 
Randy Coleman, the woodworking instructor at Corydon Central High School, is retiring at the end of this year as everyone must eventually. However, I think it’s sad the school year will be over in about two months and the South Harrison Community Corp. school board has not looked to replace Coleman.

Warrant for former mall project manager  (Carpentry)

North Chicago police have obtained a warrant for a Kenosha man they believe bilked the city of a large amount of money on a construction job. Joe Bowles, former project manager for Grant Place, a new retail strip mall at Sheridan Road and 18th Street, is being sought on a charge of deceptive practice, according to police Cmdr. George McClary, who said the warrant was issued Friday.
